Full description
I have created this fabulous patchwork bag from a sample book of fabrics by Beth Studley for Makower.
The front of the bag has been constructed with pieced patchwork squares, and has been quilted onto a base layer. The back of the bag is a piece of 100% New Zealand virgin lambswool, so is lovely and soft. A fabric heart has been appliqued near the top.
The lining is made with a plain poly-cotton fabric. There is a single pocket inside which has been embellished with applique and ric-rac.
The bag measures approximately 17" wide by 15.75" deep, with a 3.5" gusset. The handles are made from the wool felt and measure 21" each.
Please note that there are 2 of these bags available. The patchwork pieces are arranged differently on each bag. Pictures of both fronts are shown, so please state if you have a preference.
