Full description
This is a pattern for socks that are knit in the round from the toe up, and can be made in 3 different foot width sizes. The toe is knit in a plain coloured yarn, with the foot and leg of the sock being knit in alternating stripes of colour with a fair isle heart motif. The heel is knit in a slip stitch pattern in a colour of your choice. The sock is finished with a two by two rib, with a contrast colour cast off. The socks can either be knit as a matching pair, or in totally random colours to use up excess yarn stash.
They are knit on 2.25mm DPN's and you will need approximately 75g of 4 ply sock yarn for the medium size, where each band of colour uses 6.5m yarn for the background colour, and 4.5m yarn for the heart. These socks have been knit in Drops Fabel 4ply sock yarn.
My pattern is written so it is very easy to understand. It is ideal for an intermediate knitter who knows how to do magic cast on and knit in the round with colour change.
