Full description

This set of hand worked traditional Dorset Singleton Buttons is created using a Liberty Tana lawn cotton fabric, design ‘Capel’, and stitched with a white cotton thread.

They are worked over 18 mm diameter brass rings.

The buttons are finished on the back with a hand worked buttonhole stitched loop so that they can be attached to a garment and are fully machine washable and therefore do not require removal from the garment for washing.

They are supplied mounted on a card which has some information about the history of the Dorset Button heritage on the reverse.
