Full description
I have hand carved this curlew from wood and it has hand tinted glass eyes. I have then painted it with artists acrylics and as with all my birds I try to capture the spirit of the bird rather than painting feather perfect detailing. It is finished with wax giving it a soft shine. It has bent metal legs and is mounted on a lovely piece of driftwood.The piece is 24cm long, 7cm deep and 16cm tall overall.
