Full description
This unusual freeform shape pendant featured a shimmery purple cabochon of bowlerite bezel set in fine silver beneath an articulated matte finish sterling silver bail. Bowlerite is the hard plastic recovered from 10 pin bowling balls when they are no longer fit for rolling down the lanes, this particular ball was a rich purple with silvery shimmer which catches the light so it must have been quite a sight as it headed towards the pins. The shape of the bail mimics the leaf like shape of the bowlerite and there is a generous loop at the back meaning the pendant could be threaded onto ribbon or velvet if you wanted to (it comes with a sterling silver snake chain). Bowlerite is lightweight and warm to the touch so even though this is a sizable statement of a pendant it is not heavy round the neck and so comfortable to wear all day.
Measures approx 60mm by 27mm. Would make a great gift for any lady who likes the unusual or wears a lot of purple (this would make a great alternative to amethyst), it comes complete with a silver snake chain in a gift box.
