This blue flowery fabric, lavender-filled bird decoration makes such a pretty birthday or new home present! Hang it in the bedroom as a decoration or inside a wardrobe to scent and refresh clothes.
I have used a vintage style, blue trellis floral cotton fabric in a soft shade of blue, with pink and yellow flowers and green foliage. The sachet has a pale blue satin hanging ribbon loop. Filled with lots of lovely lavender grains and polyester stuffing for a firm shape, the scent in the bird lasts a long time; you can squeeze it to reactivate the scent, or add lavender drops later on too.
I've added a pink satin ribbon bow to finish and hand sewn a black embroidery thread eye on each side of the bird's head.
The body of the bird measures 17cm wide (6.75 inches) and 13.5cm high (5.3 inches) and the hanging loop measures 11.5cm tall (4.5 inches).
