I have broken my wrist and am unable to do any wood carving until next year so I thought that I would try doing just the painting bit instead! I plan to do a series of my favourite birds and just see how it goes!

Full description
This is an original small painting of a dunlin. It is painted with artists acrylics in a similar style to my carved birds. It is not a feather perfect study but I try to catch the character of the bird and I am happy with the way this one turned out!
I will be painting a small selection of my favourite birds over the next few weeks which may include more dunlin but this design will not be repeated.
The painting is approx 7" x 5" set in a 9" x 7" soft white mount.
THE FRAME IS NOT INCLUDED but it will fit any standard and easily available frame and allows you to choose a frame colour to suit your situation.
