Full description

This hand worked Dorset button is a crosswheel double daisy design which is formed by working ridged rounds from the centre of the button.

It is worked on a 32mm diameter brass ring using a blue coloured cotton thread. The button is finished on the back with a hand worked stitched loop so that it can be attached to a garment or alternatively it could be made into a brooch by the addition of a fastening on the reverse.

The button is machine washable so therefore does not require removal from the garment before laundering.

The button is supplied mounted on a card which has some information about the history of the Dorset button heritage on the reverse.
