The lovely spalted beech panel had a branch mark that looked just like a hole in a tree. Perfect for a woodpecker!

Full description
This green woodpecker has been hand carved from lime and has an inset, hand coloured glass eye. It has been painted with artists acrylics and mounted on a beautiful spalted beech panel and is climbing a silver birch branch. The whole piece has been finished with wax to give a soft shine and the panel is hung on a simple piece of twine. The panel is 25cm x 14cm excluding hanging loop.
