It’s always bothered me, all my scraps of silver, the waste!
I worked as a Fair Trade Designer for over a decade and it was a big part of my role, to be mindful about anything from paper waste to the companies carbon footprint. We developed a lot of ranges from recycled materials in India, Bangladesh, Bali and Nepal from plastic bags, bottles and packaging to the re-using of production waste and factory off-cuts.
I’ve often just stared at my off cuts of silver and wondered, what could I do with it short of having it melted down into recycled silver to then re-work?
And here is the result in these earrings. Using my discarded silver. It's a start! And I love them.

Full description
Recycled sterling silver earring studs.
Made from my silver scraps, off-cuts from sheet and ends of wire.
Choose an asymmetrical pair from the below options and select this in the drop down menu when ordering.
Option 1: Plain stick & ball stick
Option 2: Plain stick & diamond cut stick
Option 3: Ball stick & diamond cut stick
I make sure the pair of sticks are the same length.
I straighten and chop and neaten the ends of left over wire into little sticks before soldering sterling silver ear posts to the back of each. I polish to a high shine finish.
I love them, and that they are made from silver pieces that would otherwise be waste.
I hope you like them too. They come displayed on an earring card and nestled in one of my branded pillow boxes.
