It takes a bit of nerve to make these, as every now and then as I carefully drill the hole for the electric lead in the base, they can shatter, so not for the faint hearted. It takes a bit of skills to make a wooden plug for the top that fits, with a hole for the electric cable. I've glued the wooden plug in the top with Epoxy resin. I've tested the electrics for continuity and no passage to the earth cable and made sure it works OK when plugged into the mains. BUT, as I am not a qualified Electrician, I will remove the three pin plug and it will be the responibilty of the buyer to get a competent person or a qualified electrician to check it is safe before putting the plug on and conecting it to the mains supply. (If you think about it, I'm sure you willl agree)

Full description

A Hoflands Sloe Gin bottle pop art lamp. We went to Brighton and saw some like this in a shop and my daughter asked me to make some for her university digs, so I did and she chose her favourites. these are the ones that are spare, so I'm offering them to a good home. I think they are cool pop art objects...hopefully you'll agree and buy one. My daughter uses blue tack underneath to help keep them firmly in place, which works very well, she says.
