Full description
This design followed the success of Jane's the Apple Tree Knot, she had always intended to explore the idea more. Soon after the arroval of our beautiful Clumberdoodle, Marvin, we said goodbye to a few favourite plants, which are apparently delicious. In memory of the blueberry bush at the front of the fruit patch, this is Jane's 'Blueberry Knot'. In it's branches you can see a celtic knot, and the bush shows it's story through the seasons from winter to autumn. Ironically, our bush will not continue it's story into the next year as implied by the celtic knot, because we now have a big hairy dog who finds it delicious.
The image measures 18cm square and is hand printed onto lokta paper 25cm square. The print is then finished with acrylics to highlight the berries and add a splash of autumn richness. Each print is slightly different.
