Full description
A spring garden, featuring crocus, daffodils, hyacynths and fritillaries beneath a hazel tree with catkins - hand-stitched onto a felted background.
An embellisher machine has been used to create the felted background in blue and green hand-dyed wool fibres.
The bookmark is edged in blanket stitch and completed by a ribbon tail. The bookmark is backed with a second layer of felt. A variety of cotton threads and simple embroidery stitches have been used to create the garden scene.
