As always.... just rinse and wipe to best care for a wood spoon. Don't leave it soaking in hot dishwater or destroy it in a dishwasher machine...it doesn't enjoy or need such zeal. Every now and then (probably once a month when in daily use), I rub some cooking oil into it when it has dried to replenish the wood.
They darken up over time and take on a friendly familiar personality. Almost as much fun as a cat!

An eating/ desert spoon handcarved from silver birch.
The spoon is about 8 inches long and has a festive design kolrosed into the handle.
Finished with culinary grade linseed oil.
