I love to find ways of making the heritage craft of hand smocking accessible to more people.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Gingham is a lovely fabric to smock and gives a fresh looking finish to an item.
The smocking on the cushion insert panel is worked in white cotton thread and gives the impression of ribbons threaded across the fabric.
The cushion is finished with fine piping around the inserted panel and around the outer edge of the cushion.
The back features an overlap opening that fastens with white buttons, meaning that the cover can be removed for washing. The fabric is a poly cotton so is easy care and fast drying. Do not iron the smocked area.
The cushion measures approximately 38 cm square by 7 cm deep.
I am no longer making smocked cushions and am reducing this item for sale.
