Full description
This circuit contains three light-emitting diodes arranged in the shape of a triangle. A sparkling display is produced when the circuit is switched on as the l.e.d.s independently flash on and off.
Different versions of the "Sparkling Triangle" kit are available. Please choose the colour of the three l.e.d.s you would like in your kit. Choose either one l.e.d. of each colour (blue, green, pink) or choose three l.e.d.s of a single colour (either all blue, all green, all pink, all red or all yellow).

When this circuit was tested, a set of Duracell Plus Power batteries was still producing a good light output after 400 hours of continuous use.
The circuit is made on track board (approx. 6 cm x 2 cm) and requires 2 x AA batteries (not supplied). Soldering is ESSENTIAL for this kit.
These tools are needed to make this kit (not supplied):
small pliers for bending component leads,
small wire cutters for cutting component leads and link wire,
small, low power soldering iron, e.g. 15 watt, 18 watt or 25 watt.
