Full description

This beautiful hand smocked ivory silk bonnet has been designed to match the christening gown, it features a band of smocking to shape the front which is further embellished with bullion knot roses. The front edge is trimmed with lace. The back of the bonnet is gathered with a narrow matching ribbon making the size fully adjustable and the bonnet is tied under the chin with wide matching ribbon.

The Dupion silk fabric used for the bonnet has a slightly slubby texture in the weave.

It is recommended that the bonnet be dry cleaned.
