To make this pendant I have first built up a base coat of several layers of white enamel. Over this I have scattered a layer of pale blue enamel and drawn through the powder to get the duck's feathers. When the piece was fired those lines were retained, as you may see.
The duck measures 30mm tall by 18mm wide. It is mounted on a 45cm silver plate, curb chain that fastens with a simple bolt ring.
I have made this pendant by first enamelling it with white enamel then adding blue and the pink enamel using stencil techniques to confine the ccours to the selected area of the piece.
The boat measures 38mm tall by 31mm wide. It is mounted on a 45cm silver plate, curb chain that fastens with a simple bolt ring.
