Here is a decorative birthday keep sake from a new idea I've had.
Last year I made a Xmas decorations in the same style and they were very popular so I thought Id carry on the idea to birthdays.
I made the body by cutting glass pieces and soldering them together. I glittered a wooden bead for the head, added a beautiful vintage face and a floral head decoration. The skirt is made from ribbons and the arms and legs are made from head pins so the limbs freely move about, I've used a mix of seed beads and Swarovski crystal element beads. All together it makes up this very cute and individual birthday keepsake. Inside the glass body is a backdrop of flowers and a typed sentiment saying Happy Birthday. This would make an ideal alternative to a birthday card.
I've added a length of ribbon so it can be hung up on a door handle, a bed post or anywhere you want to decorate.
This keepsake will be posted in a box and oodles of bubble wrap.
