Based on photographs of daffodils in our garden and 'merged' with hillside landscapes. A recycling theme here - the centre of this plaque is a CD and the fabrics are offcuts from other projects.

Full description
Cheerful daffodils, hazel catkins, sheep on the hillside and a pretty white-washed cottage - a delightful scene captured by hand embroidery and applique stitched over a recycled CD.
The background of this plaque has been created by applying an assortment of fabric scraps to a felt background, using blanket stitch. Details of the composition have been added by hand embroidery in a mixture of cottons and wools.
Couching, over a twist of fancy yarns, frames the design.
The plaque is stiffened by a central core of a recycled CD. The back of the plaque is neatened with commercial felt and a hanging loop, of button-hole stitch in cotton, is securely stitched in place.
Height (excluding hanging loop) - 13 cm approx.
Please note this plaque may not be washed.
The easel is not included.
