Full description
Poinsettia stitched in red, green and gold thread against a black background - this textile brooch would look great on a winter coat or jacket.
This brooch has been hand-embroidered, using cotton threads and simple stitches. The design is edged in blanket stitch in red thread. The centre of each group of poinsettia bracts is worked in gold thread knots.
The brooch is stiffened by a layer of heavy interfacing and the back is neatened with felt. A brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
Diameter - 5 cm approx
