Full description
This was Jane's favourite poem, by Victor Hugo. She first read it as a small child, and had the words installed in her head ever since. In some translations, the word limb is replaced by bough, but Jane used the translation she first read. It is such an inspirational poem, perfect in so many ways, in it's message about attitude to life, and in it's conciseness. Jane did love a short poem.
It is hand printed onto handmade lokta paper measuring approximately 20cm x 24cm. Each print is slightly different.
