This lovely giraffe is inspired by an image of a vintage, 1940's toy pattern. I have drawn it out, knocked it into a more modern shape and given it a mane and tail and a lovely, sleepy face!
Made using a beautiful Denyse Schmidt cotton fabric in a subtle apple green, with funky flowers in shades of turquoise, red, yellow and white, with grey accents. Gorgeous! The cream, vintage fringe mane and tail are securely sewn, several times over, into the seams.
Measuring 28cm high and 16cm wide (at the base) the giraffe is filled with super soft and cuddly polyester toy stuffing. The toy may be hand washed in warm water and left to dry naturally.
Remember to please use your discretion when giving to a child; although there are no hard attachments or loose parts this is not suitable for a baby or child under three, though would make a lovely shelf sitter until they are older.
