Textile picture titled “St Pancras II” is the second in a series of 3 panels for which the inspiration was the inside of St Pancras International railway station London.
Contemporary patchwork has been decorated with both and hand and machine stitching to mimic the girders and brickwork of the inside roof. Turquoise, peach and pale grey hand dyed fabric has been used. When finished the work had a misting of white acrylic paint applied over the surface
The work measures 12 x 17 cm and is mounted on a canvas measuring 20 x 25 x 3.5 cm.
This item has been hand stitched by me and made in a non-smoking and pet free home.
