I’m 27 years old and currently work at Waitrose, but my true passion lies in my small business, which I hope to make my full-time job one day. I’ve always been a creative person, and starting my business gave me a wonderful outlet for that creativity. It wasn't until I embarked on this journey that I realized it could also be a way for me to earn a living.
My love for candles is at the heart of my shop. There's something magical about the process of making candles, and I see each one as a unique work of art. My inspiration comes from anything beautiful or unique, and I strive to create products that you can’t find anywhere else. This is why I decided to take my candle-making to the next level by making my own jars. I wanted my candles to stand out from the rest and this is how I came up with the idea of handmaking each and every jar. Each jar is crafted with care and attention to detail, making them not just a candle but a piece of art.
One of the most rewarding aspects of having a small business is the connection with my customers. When someone buys one of my candles and leaves a positive review, it means the world to me. Knowing that someone appreciates the products I’ve handmade is an incredible feeling, and it’s a big part of why I started selling my candles. I hope to continue bringing joy to others with my candles and making my creative dreams a reality.
