Hand crocheted chunky scarf with cowl neck.
Pattern of the scarf section is Wild Oleander by Wickedly Handmade, with the cowl section freehanded myself in the fantastically textured waffle stitch.
This was completed to use part balls of yarn - the scarf has two strands of different yarns held together to create the red and cream mottled mix, which might remind you of a classic summer treat popular at Wimbledon. Or if you’re a true crime fan like we are here at Wytch Towers it might remind you of something else. Either way it looks stunning, especially contrasted with the solid cream of the cowl, and makes this a unique piece as I’ve now finished the red ;)
The cream yarn is 100% wool, the red I believe is a Sirdar recycled wool blend with a tweed finish (meaning there may be other hints of colour mixed in). As such, we recommend a wool / delicates / handwash setting only. Do not tumble dry, reshape whilst damp and dry flat. As this is mostly natural wool please avoid if you have allergies or texture sensitivities that this product may trigger.
Super cosy V shaped scarf with attached large cowl designed to complement so many outfits and keep you warm in all weathers. Wear over lighter clothes as an added layer, or style under a coat to give maximum warmth.
The varied textures and stitches featured in this design really draw the eye and catch attention.
This is a medium adult size, in a chunky finish. Approximate measurements shown in the photos.
