Watson the cat! The first print I ever make back in 2002 was of a cat, so it is always very satisfying to return to this subject matter, with one who is now a member of our family!

A3 (29.7cm x 42 cm) 3-colour linocut / screen-print entitled 'Watson No.3'.
Watson is our cat. We got him from the RSPCA in September 2021, and he is very much now a member of our family. He is a little crazy at times, running round the house or garden at breakneck speed for no obvious reason, and then curling himself up in a ball on the nearest sofa or bed.
This is the third print I have made of him. This time I wanted to capture him fast asleep on his cushion, sprawled out in his own little dream world!
Blue, orange and pink System 3 inks on white Seawhite 300gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 50, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H29.2.5xW22.2cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
Printed by myself in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
