Welcome to the Wonky Towers shop. Here you will find a variety of household items and gifts, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.
If you spot something you’d like in a different colour combination or other feature, drop us a message and ask - many things are possible.
Postage: generally we only post to the UK. EU regulations prohibit us from posting to Europe and Northern Ireland. If you wish to order from other parts of the world we will consider this on a case-by-case basis. Our preference to have the delivery tracked will mean the cost may be prohibitive.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This lovely set of three lavender bags will make your home smell great. They are made from vintage embroidered linens - tray cloths, coat hanger covers and such like, that may just sit in a drawer, unused. I am hoping that by repurposing these linens the beautiful fabrics can be enjoyed and have another useful life.
Each bag measures approximately 10cm square. Where there is cutwork, I have used a light lining to keep the contents in. The bags are filled with kiln dried lavandin flowers from Castle Farm in Kent - keeping it local to me. Lavandin is a variety of lavender with a bright, invigorating scent which is lovely to use in clothing drawers, airing cupboards or just to scent a room. Whilst this variety doesn't have the sleep-enhancing properties of some lavenders, it does have an insect-repellant effect, making it perfect to protect your precious woollens and silks from moth damage.
I have shown the bags tied together with a ribbon, perfect for a gift. However sending them like this would significantly increase the postage cost. Consequently I have given the option to choose 'gift'. If you are buying these as a gift I will enclose a length of ribbon that can be used to tie the bags together. If you are buying them for yourself and don't mind so much about presentation, choose 'not gift'. Your order will be sent in a large-letter sized cardboard box which can be re-used or recycled. You will receive the bags in the photographs. Other sets are available.
