Full description
These pretty earrings are made from blue agate beads which I found in a little beadshop whilst on holiday in Canada. I have put them on sterling silver wires hanging from good quality sterling silver leverback earring hooks.
Because blue agate is a natural gemstone the markings on the beads in the two earrings are different. I am aware that some agate is dyed to enhance its colour and unfortunately I am unable to say whether this has been the case here or not. The stones are more of a turquoise than the deep blue of much of the dyed stone.
Each bead is 8mm in diameter and each earring measures 4.5cms (1.8 ins) from the bottom of the earring hook. Each earring weighs about 6gms.
I will post your earrings to you wrapped in acid free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard postage box.
