We love victoriana and antiquated dolls, and we feal childhood simply grew up with us. Our cat, Asher, is a living imp too, and with his bug eyes and tweeny nose is arguably the embodiment of creepy-cute. He is our adorable imp and must have inspired us along with heritage collections and tweakables.

Have you moths in your closet? Roaches in your drawers? Or is your dwelling otherwise infested? Then fear not, as this imp loves to dine on all manner of chitinous critter. Meet Renfield, who literally wears what he eats.
His dowdy smock is from Tim Holtz and printed with many a beetle, while on his silk collar a weevil has been cross stitched. Renfield’s head and paws are made of glacier porcelain, his eyes glazed, and on his left cheek is a single black tear. He has wooden buttons and a black leather tail. Renfield is weighted and made to be seated, however his limbs move at hip and shoulder. For his heart stone we selected Leopard Skin Jasper, as the stone’s mottling reminded us of moth wings. A delicacy Renfield thinks is ludicrous to reject!
Renfield’s materials include: glacier porcelain, glaze, stain, sand, stuffing, Tim Holtz fabric, leather, buttons felt, and ribbon.
Renfield measures 12 cm high, 7cm wide and 10 cm long.
