Meet Emily, a beautiful unique cloth doll, made and designed by Bearlescent
She stands at around 13" tall and had been handcrafted from doll velour fabric in doll face pink. Her arms are movable, jointed with cotter pin fitments but her legs and head are sewn in place and do not move.
Emily has a sweet little teddy bear friend, her name is Pip, she''s handsewn from lilac wool felt with floral hand embroidery to her front.
Emily has a little ruck sack, somewhere for Pip to rest when she gets tired.
She wears milk white vintage cotton lace pants and petticoat, a pretty green blue floral print skirt with plain green waistband and a hand knitted blue sweater. Deep burgundy simple shoes finish her outfit.
Her facial features have been hand embroidered and her hair was made by making a twisted yarn, coiling it around her scalp and sewing into place. A pile of yarn cut to lengths from lovely alpaca boucle wool was then individually strung with a crochet hook, a long process which takes over half a day but gives lovely results with no scalp showing.
Emily and Pip have their names on a little wooden tag attached to Emilys bag.
They are unique dolls for the adult collector, they are not suitable as toys for the under 14's.
Emily is a sweet natured young lady who loves her little bear, she's quite shy and loves calm, peaceful surroundings, she's an old fashioned girl in a modern style.
She will be posted by Royal Mail Tracked 48 parcel post.
