Full description
Illustration of the 'Fisherman Fresco' wall painting from the ancient site of Akrotiri on Thera (Santorini). The fresco dates to c.1650 BCE and, although it was originally thought to represent a fisherman (hence, the name) it is now thought it could actually depict a male giving a devotional offering of fish, rather than a fisherman. Although, technically, Minoan Art is from Crete, the art of this period from the Cycladic islands is commonly known as Minoan, as it is so similar in style.
Printed on an A6 card made from 300gsm, satin-matte, archival quality card stock.
