Full description
It took a lot of meticulous unpicking to transform this vintage 80s skirt into a beautiful piece of rescued fabric. And it really is lovely. Soft cotton in shades of red, cream and grey/green, it's come out as a very useable single length, thanks to the original clever pleated construction. It was made by the British company Joanna Frances, which often used Liberty prints in its pieces - this may be one of those.
It's just shy of 2 metres long and 76cm wide. There's one small hole where the pocket must have pulled.
