I frequently walk the Southwell trail with our dog. On this particular occasion, I was struck by the quality of the light filtering through the trees and I wanted to try and capture the brightness and warmth of the day in my painting. Locals will recognise that this view is where the trail crosses the river Greet.

Full description
This painting is based on photographs taken last summer of Southwell trail. The item for sale is a highly detailed, 20cm x 20cm canvas print of the painting, which was originally completed in oils.
