We love victoriana and antiquated dolls, and we feal childhood simply grew up with us. Our cat, Asher, is a living imp too, and with his bug eyes and tweeny nose is arguably the embodiment of creepy-cute. He is our adorable imp and must have inspired us along with heritage collections and tweakables.

Full description
With his black tear, sombre poms, and wilting silk, Remy pays homage to Pierrot. Often described as the “sad clown”, Pierrot is considered love-sick, so we thought it suitable to hand embroider roses on his smock and collar. For a secret love? A funeral? We’re not sure, as there is no way to tell if Remy’s wistful sighs are sincere. All we know is that this imp loves a doting audience and lots of sympathy.
Remy’s body and smock are white dupion silk, while his collar is embroidered black silk. The poms of his smock are felt. His head and paws are porcelain, his eyes are glazed, and his tale white leather. Remy is weighted and made to be seated, however his limbs move at hip and shoulder. For his heart we chose a tourmalinated quartz for its vacillating black and white – a suitable metaphor for Remy’s capricious temperament.
Remy’s materials include: glacier porcelain, glaze, stain, sand, stuffing, dupion silk, leather, buttons felt, and ribbon.
Remy measures 12 cm high, 7cm wide and 10 cm long.
