This was based on a bouquet of Tulips that I bought for my Mum. I thought the colours all looked so beautiful together from above so took a photo which I later used as the basis of this painting. I love the distinctive colours and shapes of the tulip flrs and leaves and I tried to capture the essence of these in an abstract style.

'An explosion of tulips' features a bird's eye view of beautiful bouquet of tulips painted in an abstract style. It is based on an original acrylic painting by Elaine Curtis.
