Here’s a handsome little crow that I carved from a beautiful piece of alder wood.
He’s currently neither a pendant or a brooch pin, as I just couldn’t decide what he would look best as. So I’ve decided to leave it down to the buyer to decide - so please let me know what you’d prefer during checkout!
The crow measured around 1.5 inches in wingspan, so he’s quite a tiny fellow, but sometimes the best things come in small packages, right?
He’s been stained using ebonizing solution, and finished with a blend of natural oils and wax polish (all of which are free from animal products such as beeswax) This finish makes him water resistant, so he’s safe to wear out in the rain or in the shower without any water damage occurring.
I think this might quite possibly be one my proudest carves to date, so I’d love for him to find a new forever home.
All of my hand carved creatures come with a little jewellery pouch, and free whittling toad stickers and badges.
