Designing and creating jewellery can be full of new ideas and unusual materials and mediums available to us. I find the subject of using recycled/upcycled materials interesting, creating something unique and different from an item we may discard as an everyday item and rubbish. I’m based in the Stockport area of the UK and all my pieces are handmade from me.

Full description
Handmade necklace made from recycled aluminium drink can complemented with the addition of a bright green acrylic shape. The design focuses on the metal base of the can incorporating the domed shape which I have cut, shaped and hammered texture too giving this necklace it’s unique and one-of-a-kind individuality. The acrylic shape made by hand also with a striking bold shape and colour, this is riveted to the metal using aluminium tubing. Eco-friendly material and lightweight and comfortable to wear for all occasions.
