I am inspired by all things in nature and love to use silk painting as a way to express what I see around me. Silk painting is a unique medium which produces vibrant yet delicate paintings. I use the gutta method which means the picture is first outlined onto stretched silk with a choice of coloured or clear gutta. I love to use the metallics for my cards. Then silk paints are applied with fine brushes and finally the item is steamed to set the paints. A long process but worth it!
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

A KEEPSAKE CARD. IDEAL FOR FRAMING. A CARD AND PRESENT IN ONE
This is NOT A PRINT but an original Hand Painted design on silk mounted in a greeting card.
The card is large being 6” x 8" inches approximately, It’s a quality white card with matching envelope.
The silk painting itself is 3.75” x 5.75” inches. It’s outlined in silver gutta and features a detailed painting of a flat top shell. Title, ‘ Beach Treasure’.
The card is blank inside.
The artwork can be framed after use.
Comes carefully packaged in cellophane. Due to its size this item is classed as a large letter for postage.
