I love watching the birds in my garden and feed them with a variety of different foods to keep them all happy. Over the years we have seen their numbers steadily increase, and my birdfood bill has increased also! I love the colours of their little eggs, and decided to make a stitched card showing some of my favourites. You can see the names of the birds written underneath - all very educational!

This is a small handmade greeting card featuring miniature hand-stitched applique. The design features lifesize birds' eggs cut from hand-dyed fabrics with a number reference to explain which birds the eggs belong to! (The birds are written beneath).
The central panel is backed with a pretty 'feathers' cotton print. It is entitled 'British Birds' Eggs' - definitely a card to keep! Great for framing too. Suitable for Easter, or any Springtime celebration!
(note: bird book and flower etc not included in the sale!)
All my cards measure 12 x 9 cm and come with toning recycled paper envelopes in clear compostable sleeves - no plastic! Each card is signed on the front and my studio stamp is on the back; the title is also written on the card : British Birds' Eggs. Cards are made from stout 100% recycled card - blank inside.
I always post promptly first class, and your card will be wrapped carefully and sent in good packaging to protect corners from damage on its way to you.
