The Easter Bunny wasn’t always a bunny - its roots can be traced back to the hare, a figure woven into myths and legends throughout history. Known as the Easter Hare, or Oschter Haws, it was believed to bring colourful eggs to well-behaved children as part of springtime celebrations.
Growing up in Norfolk’s countryside, I’ve often been inspired by the hare’s place in local folklore, symbolising fertility, renewal, and the changing seasons. This bib showcases my original illustration of the Easter Hare to bring a slice of that heritage to life.
Each bib is hand printed with care, celebrating the hare’s connection to spring’s magic and timeless traditions. It’s my way of blending history, folklore, and creativity to make even everyday moments a little more special.
Safety information
This bib is crafted from premium towelling fabric with secure stitching, ensuring safe and comfortable use during mealtime. Use mild detergent and avoid bleach to maintain the fabric’s softness and vibrant design. Keep away from open flames and high heat sources to preserve fabric integrity. Not suitable for children under three years if used unsupervised, as the straps may pose a tangling hazard.
