This picture was great fun to make. Different images, different styles, loads of colour. Took a good bit of time but I think it was worth it.

Full description
Only two of these currently exist and both are completely different. Collage 2 is currently on display at Iain MacGregor Fine Art Gallery, Glasgow.
This picture is really 21 miniature pictures in one. It took a fair bit of time to make as each image was individually crafted. The 21 mini-pictures were then assembled on a broad strip of bullseye glass. They were fired in my kiln for 12 hours to allow each image to fuse with the background glass and its neighbour. This picture took two firings to get it to the high standard that I expect from my work.
This is the type of picture that you would notice, pause, and investigate each different image. It is very eye-catching, and for the inquiring mind a delight.
One of my bigger pictures.
Frame measures: width 23cm x height 53cm x depth 2.3cm.
Picture measures: width 8cm to 12cm, height 40cm, depth 7mm.
Picture is initialled on the third picture from the bottom, and signed on bottom right hand of frame.
Designed by Alison MacVicar in Stewarton, East Ayrshire, Scotland.
