Full description
This patchwork quilt uses “Flying Geese” units arranged in the “Dutchman’s Puzzle” pattern, using a co-ordinating range of floral cotton fabrics with a plain pale blue and mid-blue cotton for borders, binding and backing.
A 100% Soft & Bright polyester wadding has been used between the layers and a simple line of machine quilting has been added on each side of the narrow mid-blue border (1.5” wide). The outer border (2.5” wide) is a pale blue cotton and all four sides of the quilt are finished with a double thickness binding in mid-blue, machine stitched on the front and hand finished with slip stitch on the reverse side.
The quilt measures 48” x 39” (122cm x 99cm).
Laundering guidelines are included.
The matching cushion cover uses the same cotton fabrics and pattern as the quilt above. The back of the cushion cover has a centre opening with facing and a single loop and covered button closure. It measures 14.5”(37cm) square. A good quality feather cushion pad is included.
