All of my makes are eco friendly and made to last from 100% wool felt and stuffed with washed wool fleece sourced from Yorkshire. I use DMC cotton thread to embroider folk patterns and stitches creating totally unique heirloom treasures.

The Unicorn is one of mythology’s most enchanting creatures – a graceful, horse-like being distinguished by a single, spiraling horn jutting from its forehead. Predominantly featured in European folklore, the Unicorn is often depicted as pure white, symbolizing innocence and purity.
Legends portray the Unicorn as a wild, solitary creature that roams freely in enchanted forests. It was believed to be untamable except by a person of pure heart, often described as a young maiden. This association led to rich symbolism in medieval art and literature, where the Unicorn came to represent purity and grace.

This unusual hand embroidered magical beast is a Unicorn -part of my ‘ Mythical Beasts and Where to Search for Them’ collection.
Made from entirely natural products and beautifully embroidered in pastel coloured cotton thread, he/she would make a lovely gift for a newborn baby.

Although very attractive to both adults and children, my makes are NOT toys.
They are decorative accessories and as such have not been tested for toy safety.
