Full description
This eye-catching painting features a pretty Japanese Kokeshi Doll standing amongst sculptures that represent Japanese balancing stones. The doll is dressed in a bright red outfit with flower details and light coloured hair. The background of this sweet painting is painted in shades of white and pale blue with small pink details that represent pretty cherry blossom against the sky and includes a single blue butterfly. This painting has an air of calmness and has been named 'Serenity'.
The artwork measures 20 x 16 inches is painted in acrylic on box canvas (canvas stretched over a wooden frame). The edges of the canvas are painted so that the artwork is ready to hang without the need to be framed. This is not a print, you will receive the original acrylic painting that will come with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.
My unique and original Kokeshi doll art is inspired by traditional wooden Japanese Kokeshi dolls, this is one of my most popular forms of painting and will be a unique statement artwork for your home.
