Welcome to my shop - Lorna Gilbert Ceramics
I make small batch ceramics here in Yorkshire.
Inspired by the Yorkshire country side and childhood memories of the wild mountains and oceans of the West Coast of Scotland, I make stoneware pots for people seeking space and calm. Ceramics to be held, used and enjoyed. Pots that are tactile and well proportioned, designed to fit perfectly in your hands.
Everything here is made by me in my studio in Yorkshire under the watchful eye of our 7 year old dog Lola.

Inspired by a desire for sustainable living, this hand thrown stoneware represents a slower way of life.
This ceramic pot is made from natural materials using as few resources as possible.
This plant pot forms part of my 'Golden' range of ceramics. It is decorated with a golden sun and Swift -welcoming in the change of season.
From countryside retreat to urban apartment, this vase makes a perfect gift for those who want to be surrounded by items that are useful and beautiful.
Dimensions: 12cm tall, bottom diameter 14.5cm
Fired at 1260 degrees C.
Made from white stoneware clay.
