Many years ago when I was younger, I lived in Walthamstow in London, where William Morris' Kelmscott Museum is based. I was fascinated about his connections with the places I love, and Arts and Crafts Movement became something I became really interested in. The thought of creating individual hand made pieces, is what has encouraged me to make and sell my own lovingly crafted pieces. This set of coasters is one of a series of Morris themed coasters, see my other items to find more.
Safety information
Cleaning the coasters. These coasters have been decoupaged using dishwasher safe Modpodge, and sealed with varnish Heat Resistant to 190C. They are also backed with cork, so whilst every effort has been made to make the coasters as water and spill resistant as possible, they would prefer not to be immersed in water, but would appreciate being wiped clean with a damp cloth! Please note: Because of the materials and methods used to make these coasters, slight imperfections such as wrinkles or minor blemishes may occur.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Set of four, slimline, round wooden coasters, lightweight and suitable for posting. Ideal gift. Made using decoupage and sealed with heat resistant gloss varnish. Depth of coaster approximately 4mm. A cork base prevents slipping or damage to surfaces.
These textured finish coasters look like they could be made from material. In pine green with subtle pinks and yellows they are suitable for anyone appreciating the British Arts and Crafts movement. For use in the living room, dining room or kitchen.
The coasters form a group, but may be different from others in the set. What’s better at the dinner table, coffee morning, or a party than “spot the difference” and handing them around for everyone to admire!
Excellent gift for family members, people in hospital, or individual gifts as thank you presents. Come with ‘handmade’ sticker, tissue-wrapped in recyclable packaging. Reuse the packaging to send on with just a large letter stamp, or contact me with an address to send them direct.
I take bespoke orders for coasters, but please note the layers of varnish take two weeks to cure, and should not be used for hot drinks until then.
