All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Full description
Handmade from recycled sterling silver. I collect all the scraps of sterling silver from previous projects to melt down. Here a small amount of scraps have been melted down to squash the molten silver into a random pebble like shape. This is used as the base of the pendant, other offcuts of sterling silver have been textured to form the sea, the pebble beach and the three tiny beach huts.
The belcher style chain is also recycled sterling silver.
The clasp on the chain is a 5mm bolt ring (also known as spring ring.)

Pendant pendant base dimensions: 2.3cm x 1.85cm
Hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office for its weight in solid sterling silver.
Ready made and ready to go, packaged in a necklace box, posted by Royal Mail special delivery. Please be aware that this service requires a signature.
