I’m not sure how to describe this pottery curiosity! It has been thrown on the wheel, I was practising how to make bottles and then I wanted to see if I could close the form over completely at the top. Then I had a dome shaped form, so I made a hole in the back to put a little led light in and holes over the top to let the light glow through. So I suppose we could call it a glow up half an egg! It has been fired twice, once to the bisque stage and then a second firing for the clear glaze. It measures 6 centimetres wide x 5.5cm height. It will come complete with a colour changing led light (which takes batteries which can be replaced)
