Full description
This beautiful beaded necklace is made with amazonite gemstone beads, freshwater pearls and gold filled beads. The necklace is finished with a spring ring clasp and extension chain allowing a length of around 40-46cm.
I use high quality, strong, flexible beading wire and all components are gold filled.
Gold Filled Jewellery
Gold filled, also known as 'rolled gold', is created by pressure bonding a layer of gold to a base metal. For an item (e.g. a bead or clasp) to be classed as gold filled, the gold must be 5% of the total weight of that item. Gold filled jewellery is often deemed an affordable alternative to solid gold. It offers superior quality to gold plated jewellery and, with proper care and under normal wear and conditions, the jewellery should be tarnish-free and long lasting.
